Welcome to Dokify ! This Privacy Policy outlines how your personal data is collected, used, and shared while you use our services. By using the app, you acknowledge and accept these practices. This document is a part of our Terms of Service. We may revise this policy periodically, and updated versions will be published on this page. Unless defined otherwise, terms in this Policy have the meanings given in the Dokify Terms of Service.
1.The Information we collect
1.1 Information You Voluntarily Provide to Us. We collect personal information you voluntarily provide to us when you register on the Services, express an interest in obtaining information about us or our products and services, participate in activities on the Services, or otherwise contact us:
b) Contact Information: You may provide personal information when you register for an account or contact us;
c) Other Information You Choose to Provide to Us: For example, you may provide additional account information, such as your language preference;
d) Order Data: We may collect any personal information necessary to provide you with the services you request. For example, when you purchase something from us, we may collect your name, billing address, shipping address, email address, phone number, and payment information.
1.2 Information We Collect Automatically. We may automatically collect certain types of personal information from you when you use or interact with our Services, to the extent permitted by applicable law.
a) Mobile Device Data: We automatically collect device information (such as your mobile device ID, model, and manufacturer), operating system, version information, and system configuration information, device and application identification numbers, browser type and version, hardware model, Internet service provider and/or mobile carrier, and Internet Protocol (IP) address (or proxy server). If you are using our applications, we may also collect information about the phone network associated with your mobile device, the operating system or platform of your mobile device, the type of mobile device you use, the unique device ID of your mobile device, and information about the features of our applications that you access;
b) Push notifications: We may request to send you push notifications about your account or certain features of the application. If you wish to stop receiving such information, you can turn it off in your device settings;
c) Log and Usage Data: Log and Usage Data refers to diagnostic, usage, and performance information about the Services that our servers automatically collect when you access or use our Services and that we record in log files. Depending on how you interact with us, such Log Data may include your IP address, device information, browser type, settings, and information about your activities on the Services (such as date/time stamps associated with your usage, pages and files viewed, searches, and other actions you take, such as the features you use), device event information (such as system activity, error reports (sometimes called "crash dumps"), and hardware settings);

a) Information from mobile measurement partners: We may receive data from third-party partners to help us evaluate the effectiveness of marketing campaigns, track user acquisition, and detect potential fraudulent activities;
b) Analytics information: We receive analytics information about us from third-party analytics providers to optimize user interactions with us.
2.Purpose of collecting and using
2.1 To facilitate account creation and verification, and to manage user accounts. We may process your information to enable you to create and log into your account, and to maintain the normal operation of your account.
2.2 Providing you with services: We process necessary information to perform our contractual obligations to you.
2.3 Improving services: We may collect information about you that is automatically collected or generated when you use the services, as well as non-personal information about your device, such as battery, Wi-Fi strength, device manufacturer, model and operating system, and available space on your device.

6.Children's Privacy
We do not knowingly solicit data from or market to children. By using the Services, you represent that you are an adult or that you are the parent or guardian of such a minor and consent to such minor dependent's use of the Services. If we discover that we have collected personal information from a child, we will deactivate that user's account and take reasonable steps to promptly delete such data from our records. 7.Security of Your Information
7.1 Protecting user privacy and personal information is a top priority for us. 7.2 Access to any user information is restricted to our employees, contractors, agents, and third-party service providers only whom needs to know the information in order to provide, operate, develop, maintain, support, and optimize the our service experience and security. We use password protection, access logs, and system monitoring to safeguard the confidentiality and security of all user information.
7.3 Due to the inherent nature of the internet and related technology, we do not guarantee the protection of information under our control against loss, misuse, or alteration.
8.Data Retention
8.1 We will retain your personal data only for as long as is necessary for the purposes set out in this Privacy Policy or as required by applicable laws and regulations. The specific retention period may vary depending on the nature of the data and the services provided. Once the retention period expires, we will take appropriate measures to securely delete or anonymize your personal data so that it can no longer be associated with you or used to identify you.
8.2 Partners with whom we work, including platforms that we may integrate with to provide services, may retain data for other, longer periods of time, which we do not control.
8.3 While we use commercially reasonable methods to protect your privacy, we cannot guarantee that your information or communications will always remain confidential or secure.
9.Your Right to Choose
9.1 You have a number of important rights regarding your personal data. These rights are designed to ensure that you have control over your information and that it is processed in a fair, transparent and lawful manner. We are committed to respecting and assisting you in exercising these rights to the greatest extent possible.
a) Right of access: You have the right to ask us if we are processing your personal data and, if so, to access it;
b) Right of correction: If you discover any inaccurate or outdated information in your personal data, you can ask us to correct it;
c) Right to restriction of processing: When you dispute the accuracy of your data or object to processing, you can request to restrict processing;

10.Deletion of your account
10.1 You can delete your account from within Dokify. Deleting your account is an irreversible process, which we can't revert even if you perform it by accident. You can delete your account via Dokify official website.
10.2 Deleting your account will:
i. Delete your account from Dokify.
ii. Erase your message history. If you delete your account, you can't regain access to your account.
iii. We may retain certain log data in our databases even after you delete your account, but such data will be disassociated from any identifying information such that it can no longer be linked to your account. To do this, on a regular basis, we wipe certain identifying information from this log data, and we replace any instance of your account ID with a replacement identifier which cannot be linked back to your account once it is deleted.
iv. We may also keep your information for things like legal issues, terms violations, or harm prevention efforts.
PLEASE NOTE THAT IF YOU HAS AUTO-RENEWABLE SUBSCRIPTIONS, YOUR BILLING MAY CONTINUE THROUGH THE PAYMENT PLATFORM SUCH AS APPLE, GOOGLE PAY DUE TO THE PAYMENT POLICY OF SUCH PAYMENT PLATFORM, EVEN THOUGH YOUR DOKIFY ACCOUNT HAS BEEN DELETED. IN CONSIDERATION OF THIS, WE STRONGLY SUGGEST YOU TO CANCEL YOUR SUBSCRIPTION BEFORE CONTINUING.
11.Changes to the Privacy Policy
11.1 We reserve the right to update or modify this Privacy Policy at any time. When we make changes, we will revise the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page to reflect the most recent changes. Significant changes to this policy, such as how we collect, use, or share your personal information, will be communicated to you through notifications within the app or via email, where applicable.
11.2 We encourage you to review this Privacy Policy periodically to stay informed about how we are protecting your data. By continuing to use our services after the changes are posted, you consent to the updated Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with the changes, you have the right to discontinue use of the app.
